Pierrick Bouley represents the sixth generation of winemakers leading the family estate located in Burgundy. Formerly known as R & P Bouley, the estate spans 9 hectares divided into 41 plots with a majority of old vines around 50 years old.

Since his arrival in 2009, Pierrick has initiated a transformation towards more environmentally friendly viticulture. In the process of converting to organic farming, the estate produces wines in line with biodynamic and natural practices. The 2023 vintage will be the first certified organic.

The working methods are based on a total respect for nature: reducing tractor passes to preserve the soil, using Guyot Poussard pruning to favor the vitality of the vines, and exclusively using natural products for treatments. The vines are trellised to maximize photosynthesis, and no herbicides, insecticides, or anti-rot products are used.

The manual harvesting, followed by natural fermentation without the addition of yeast, enzymes, or bacteria, guarantees wines of great purity. Since 2017, no SO2 has been added during the vinification process. The aging is done in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new, for 12 months.

The wines of Domaine Pierrick Bouley are distinguished by their elegance, their finesse, and their length on the palate.
