The Domaine Pierrick Bouley, located in Volnay in Burgundy, is a family estate managed by Pierrick Bouley, representing the sixth generation of winemakers. Since 2009, Pierrick has joined the operation full time and took over from the 2014 vintage. The estate spans around 9 hectares, divided into 41 plots, mostly in Volnay, with many old vines reaching up to fifty years. Pierrick Bouley is inspired by the principles of biodynamics and organic farming although he still practices conventional viticulture due to the specificities of his fragmented vineyard. His commitment is focused on respecting nature and limiting interventions.

The Volnay Rouge 2021 is a wine of great finesse, made from 100% Pinot Noir. This vintage captures the essence of the Volnay terroir and stands out for its freshness and elegance, characteristics of great Burgundy wines. The old vines impart an exceptional aromatic complexity to the wine, combining fresh red fruit aromas, such as cherry and raspberry, with delicate floral nuances. On the palate, this wine reveals a beautiful structure, silky tannins, and a persistent and harmonious finish.
