The Domaine Pierrick Bouley, located in Volnay, is a family-run estate managed by Pierrick, the sixth generation of the family. Having worked full-time on the estate since 2009, Pierrick took the reins starting with the 2014 vintage. With its 9 hectares of vines spread over 41 distinct plots, primarily in Volnay, the estate cultivates vines that are on average about fifty years old. Although the estate is not certified organic, Pierrick works with a philosophy close to biodynamic practices, while respecting the constraints of conventional viticulture in this fragmented region. His respectful approach to the vine and low interventionism allow him to produce wines of great purity and remarkable elegance.
