The Athenaeum bookshop

Created in 1989, opposite the Hospices de Beaune, in the heart of the town, the Athenaeum is a 1,200 m2 multicultural space dedicated to wine and gastronomy. Site uniqueone of the largest bookstores in Burgundy and the absolute reference for all wine lovers. Books, vineyard maps, wine-related objects, great Burgundy wines: it's the crossroads of passions between cellars and tableware, between humor and moods..

A unique bookshop with over 10,000 titles, including 3,000 specifically on wine and gastronomy: a world reference in the field. A fully air-conditioned area awaits you, where you can browse through almost 200 wines from Burgundy but also from all over the world. A selection of over a hundred carafes and other wine-related accessories tasting glasses, corkscrews, gifts (ties, cufflinks, brooches)... are available.
