Description
Beaune Rouge 1er Cru "Le Clos Du Bas Des Teurons" 2022 | Wine from Domaine Pierrick Bouley
The Domaine Pierrick Bouley is a family-run estate located in Volnay, at the heart of Burgundy. Pierrick Bouley, representing the sixth generation, joined the estate in 2009 and took over from his parents in 2014. The estate covers about 9 hectares and includes 41 different plots, most of which are located in Volnay. With old vines, the average age being 50 years, the estate places a strong emphasis on preserving the quality of its terroir. Inspired by biodynamic practices, Pierrick Bouley works his vines in a respectful and low-intervention manner while remaining within conventional viticulture.
The Beaune Rouge 1er Cru "Le Clos Du Bas Des Teurons" 2022 is a wine made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. This Burgundy cru reflects the perfect balance between elegance and structure. Its intense aromas of ripe red fruits blend delicately with notes of spices and undergrowth. The meticulous winemaking and the age of the vines offer a complex and refined wine, with beautiful depth and a persistent finish.
This Beaune Rouge 1er Cru 2022 reveals aromas of cherry, raspberry, and blackberry on the nose, supported by subtle notes of spices and vanilla. On the palate, it is silky with smooth tannins and a beautiful acidity that gives it great freshness. The finish is long, marked by nuances of undergrowth and a slight mineral touch.
This wine pairs wonderfully with red meats, sauced dishes such as beef bourguignon or grilled rib steak. It also goes very well with aged cheeses like an aged Comté or an Epoisses.
Let it breathe in a decanter for a few hours before tasting to reveal its full potential.
