The Domain Michel Couvreur is one of the most renowned whisky producers in Burgundy, in France. Michel Couvreur, initially a producer and trader of wine in Burgundy, acquired in 1956 the cellars of Molet at Bouze-lès-Beaune, a region with a terroir suitable for whisky production. After learning the craft of whisky making in Scotland, , Michel Couvreur founded his own estate of whiskey in France.
