Michel Couvreur, , producer and trader wine in Burgundy, acquired the Molet cellars in Bouze-lès-Beaune in 1956, where he subsequently developed whiskies of quality, drawing inspiration from Scottish traditions. His expertise and passion for Whisky led him to develop unique aging methods. The whiskies Michel Couvreur are aged in an exceptional cellar carved into the heart of the Burgundian rock, thus benefiting from a perfect environment for the aging of the Whisky. The Whisky Intravagan'za 50% is a Single malt refined, aged in Sherry casks Moscatel and Oloroso, barrels that have previously held Sherry, for a rich and fruity influence. It is aged in the cellar. Michel Couvreur to Bouze-lès-Beaune, in an environment that promotes slow and careful maturation. This whiskey is cask strength bottled to 50% alcohol, without cold filtration, thus preserving all its aromatic richness. This method gives it a slightly cloudy color, a sign of its pure and natural character. It is a whisky that stands out for its great roundness, his/her/its Finesse, and its aromas very present from Fruits and of floral.
