Description
Michel Couvreur Whiksky Magnum "Cap de Pie" Spirits
The Michel Couvreur story began in 1956 when Michel Couvreur, a Burgundian wine merchant from Belgium, entered the world of whisky by acquiring the Molet cellars in Bouze-lès-Beaune. These cellars offer him the ideal conditions for aging his own whiskies. Convinced that the quality of a good whisky depends to a large extent on its ageing in barrels, Michel Couvreur has distinguished itself as an exceptional independent bottler. He imports neutral alcohol from Scotland to age it in the best possible conditions. He created an international reputation and even after his death in 2013, his legacy lives on thanks to his son-in-law Cyril Deschamps and the cellar master of la maison, who made it a point of honour to preserve it.
This Michel Couvreur Whiksky Magnum "Cap de Pie" is one of la maison's flagship products! First developed in 2018, this blend is destined to become a must-have classic. Inspired by the already famous "The Unique", it stands out for its higher proportion of malt whiskies in its composition, thus offering exceptional complexity while preserving its characteristic freshness. Its delicately iodized fragrance, embellished with a subtle touch of almond, is balanced by notes of vanilla, light blooms and white fruits. On the palate, it is both nervous and very round, with a hint of sherry that gives it a unique depth. This gourmet and easy-drinking whisky is ideal as an aperitif, served at a cool temperature. Thanks to its generous proportion of malt whiskies, it offers a very complex persistence on the palate. Experience the elegance and sophistication of our product today! Its Magnum format will delight you!
