Jeanne's arrival marks a new era, combining tradition and sustainable viticulture, thus preserving the quality and natural balance of the vineyard.

The Mercurey 1er Cru "Les Naugues" 2021 by François Raquillet is a red wine from the Mercurey appellation, made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. Coming from a plot of 0.50 hectares located halfway up the slope and facing south, it benefits from a soil made from marl with little limestone and an average age of the vines of 50 years. Cultivation practices include cordon de Royat pruning and mechanical tillage with several ploughings per year. The grapes are harvested by hand, followed by sorting in the cellar. As far as winemaking is concerned, the grapes are 100% destemmed and ferment naturally with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged in barrels (30% new) for 12 months, followed by 6 months in vats. This wine can be decanted for more sweetness and is served at a temperature of 18°C. It is recommended to consume it within 5 to 10 years of bottling. The result is a powerful, round and fleshy wine, with aromas of black fruits, which fully expresses the richness of its terroir.
