Meursault Blanc "Les Criots" 2020 | Wine from Domaine Pierre Boisson

Pierre Boisson and his sister Anne gradually took over the Boisson-Vadot family estate. Both also produce wines under their own names. Located in Meursault, the Pierre Boisson estate covers 3.5 hectares. The vines are cultivated in a sustainable way, without chemical fertilizers and with ploughing of the soil. The maturation is long and with very few new barrels, the stirring is carried out gently and the wines are not filtered. Pierre Boisson has chosen to age for a very long time in old barrels so as not to leave a mark on the wine.

Domaine Pierre Boisson's 2020 Meursault Blanc "Les Criots" offers an authentic experience of southern Burgundy. Vinified according to traditional methods, it is the result of manual harvesting and meticulous sorting of the grapes. Matured exclusively in barrels for 15 to 18 months or more, this wine reveals a unique character. On the nose, it reveals subtle aromas of fresh fruit, white flowers such as rose and acacia, as well as citrus notes such as grapefruit and tangerine. On the palate, it seduces with its freshness, liveliness and dryness balanced by a beautiful fruity expression. Its concentration makes it a great companion for many dishes, while its slight acidity gives it a nice length on the finish. A discovery to be savoured without moderation.
