Pierre Boisson and his sister Anne gradually took over the Boisson-Vadot family estate. Both also produce wines under their own names. Located in Meursault, the Pierre Boisson estate covers 3.5 hectares. The vines are cultivated in a sustainable way, without chemical fertilizers and with ploughing of the soil. The maturation is long and with very few new barrels, the stirring is carried out gently and the wines are not filtered. Pierre Boisson has chosen to age very long in old barrels so as not to mark the wine.

In the heart of the Mâconnais wine landscape, the 2020 Mâcon-Villages Blanc "Au Poirier Chanin" from Domaine Pierre Boisson is a unique expression of Chardonnay. Made from meticulously tended vines in the Au Poirier Chanin plot, this wine reveals the very essence of the terroir. The farmer's know-how is reflected in every aspect of his production, from the vineyard to the cellar. After a carefully conducted harvest, the grapes are vinified according to Burgundian traditions, followed by long ageing punctuated by delicate stirring. The result is a colour with golden reflections, enveloping a bouquet where citrus aromas subtly mingle. On the palate, a balanced depth between lemony notes and minerality settles in, leading to a remarkably long finish. This wine can age in the cellar for up to a decade, promising a complex and rewarding evolution over the years.
