Alsace Maceration White "Variation" 2022 | Wine from Domaine Vincent Gross
Domaine Vincent Gross, located in the heart of Alsace, a few kilometres from Colmar, is a family wine estate practising biodynamic farming. Founded by Louis Gross, a blacksmith by trade, it initially covered 2.5 hectares. Since the 1980s, Rémy Gross, succeeding his parents, and his son Vincent, have been cultivating 10 hectares of vines. Their commitment to respect for traditions and the family spirit guides their work, from cultivation to the vinification of the entire harvest.
Domaine Vincent Gross's 2022 "Variation" macerated Alsace Blanc is a Sylvaner with 18 days of skin maceration and eight months in amphora. It offers an oily texture and has serious notes of candied lemon, juicy apple, as well as distinct aromas of sage and thyme. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, this orange wine will seduce lovers of the genre.
