The Domaine Lafarge-Vial, located in Fleurie, is a passionate initiative by Chantal, Frédéric, and their daughter Clotilde, drawing on their recognized experience from their family estate in Volnay. In 2014, they made the bold choice to establish themselves in Beaujolais, investing in old vines in the Fleurie appellation. Cultivated organically and later converted to biodynamics, these vines are pruned in gobelet style, and the soils are carefully worked, notably with horse plowing. This respect for nature is combined with the Burgundian method in the cellar, adapted to the Gamay grape, to produce wines that are dense, elegant, and reflective of their terroir.

The Fleurie Red "La Joie du Palais" 2019 is a pure and sophisticated expression of Gamay. Coming from 50-year-old vines cultivated on granite slopes, this wine stands out for its depth and finesse. It offers an enticing aromatic bouquet, combining notes of fresh red fruits like raspberry and cherry, with a touch of sweet spices. On the palate, it combines liveliness and structure, revealing a complexity that makes it suitable for good aging.

The bright ruby color heralds a complex and charming nose. Aromas of raspberry, black cherry, and a subtle hint of white pepper are expressed with elegance.
