Côte de Brouilly Red 2018 | Wine from Domaine Lafarge Vial
The Domaine Lafarge-Vial, led by Chantal, Frédéric, and their daughter Clotilde, is a family venture that began in 2014. After building a reputation at the family estate in Volnay, they decided to conquer Beaujolais with the acquisition of old vines in Fleurie. These vines, cultivated organically and converted to biodynamics, are the result of exceptional expertise. The soils are worked by horse, the vines pruned in goblet style, and the vinifications, inspired by Burgundian tradition, enhance the Gamay while preserving the typicity and elegance of the terroirs.
The Côte de Brouilly Red 2018 embodies the richness and finesse of the granitic terroir of this prestigious Beaujolais appellation. This organic wine, made from the Gamay grape variety, stands out for its freshness, bright fruitiness, and elegant character. The 2018 vintage is marked by optimal maturity, offering a beautiful concentration of aromas and a harmonious structure.

On the nose, it reveals generous aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, and small red fruits, accompanied by subtle spicy and floral notes.
