List of products by brand Domaine Chevalier
Domaine Chevalier, located in Ladoix-Serrigny in the Côte-d'Or region, is a family-run estate founded in 1850 by Émile Dubois. His dedication earned the estate several awards at Agricultural Competitions and World Expositions of the time. After the phylloxera crisis and World War I, his daughter Marcelle and her husband Emile Chevalier successfully restored the vineyard. Their son, Georges Chevalier, expanded the estate and introduced bottling at the property in 1959. By 1969, the entire production was bottled and sold exclusively this way, ensuring consistent quality.
In 1994, Claude Chevalier, Georges' son, took over the winemaking and modernized vineyard practices, focusing on improving quality year after year. By 2005, the estate grew to 14 hectares.
Today, Claude's daughters, Julie, Chloé, and Anaïs, represent the new generation with a fresh, modern perspective. Chloé, with a degree in viticulture and oenology, has been managing vineyard and winemaking operations since 2008, while Julie and Anaïs oversee marketing and administration.
The Domaine Chevalier continues to be recognized by leading wine critics and publications, including Bourgogne Aujourd'hui, Wine Advocate, and La Revue du Vin de France, maintaining a tradition of crafting exceptional wines that honor their Burgundy terroir.
