The Domaine Maxime Crotet is the story of a young winemaker passionate about Burgundy. After ten years of training with Frédéric Cossard in Saint Romain, Maxime launched his own estate in 2021, in Beaune. Not yet having vineyards, he turned to a negociant activity, working with grapes from winemakers who share his philosophy of environmental respect and organic viticulture methods.

Winemaking at the estate is done naturally, with minimal interventions and without superfluous additives. The whites, including this Chardonnay Blanc 2022, are primarily aged in stainless steel tanks, preserving the freshness and purity of the fruit.

This VdF Chardonnay Blanc 2022 from grapes harvested in Poligny in the Jura, embodies the purity of the Chardonnay grape worked organically. Thanks to careful and natural winemaking, this white wine reveals delicate aromas of white flowers and citrus, with a marked minerality typical of good chardonnays.

The year 2022 allowed Maxime to reveal the full potential of his grapes, with better yields than in 2021. This cuvée, from grapes from Burgundy, is both refreshing and complex, marked by great drinkability, ideal for enjoying convivial moments.
