The Domaine Maxime Crotet was born from the passion of a young Burgundian winemaker, Maxime Crotet. After working for ten years alongside Frédéric Cossard in Saint-Romain, Maxime decided to create his own estate in 2021 by acquiring a winery in Beaune. Not yet owning a vineyard, he began a trading activity, sourcing grapes from winegrowers who share his values of respecting nature. Maxime Crotet adopts an organic farming approach and emphasizes natural winemaking methods, limiting interventions in the cellar to allow the grapes to fully express themselves.

The Bourgogne Blanc "Matilda" 2022 is a 100% Chardonnay white wine from the Bourgogne AOC. This wine reflects Maxime's philosophy: natural winemaking with minimal interventions. Vinified in stainless steel vats to preserve the freshness of the grape variety, it offers a beautiful balance between the roundness of Chardonnay and a refreshing vivacity.

The subtle aromas of citrus and white flowers reveal the full typicity of the Burgundian terroirs. On the palate, the wine is fresh, mineral, and elegant, with a beautiful length. The 2022 vintage, generous in quality and quantity, allows Maxime to reveal all the finesse and elegance of his wines.
