Description
White Wine Pouilly-Vinzelles "Les Quarts" 2021 Domaine la Soufrandière
The Domaine La Soufrandière is a family estate located in Vinzelles, at the heart of the Mâconnais region in southern Burgundy. Founded in 1947 by the paternal grandfather of the current owners, this estate is known for its environmentally friendly practices. Since 2000, the Bret brothers, known as the Bret Brothers, have chosen to convert the estate to Organic and Biodynamic Agriculture. In 2006, the estate received its official certification, marking a strong commitment to sustainable viticultural practices. The vines, aged between 33 and 80 years, benefit from an ideal exposure, located on east and southeast-facing slopes on soils rich in red clay and limestone.
The Pouilly-Vinzelles "Les Quarts" 2022 is an exceptional wine, produced from a 2-hectare plot, recognized as one of the greatest terroirs of the Pouilly-Vinzelles appellation. The vineyard is planted on clay-limestone soils dating back more than 180 million years, offering a rich and vibrant terroir. The old Chardonnay vines, aged between 45 and 80 years, give rise to a wine with exceptional aging potential. The terroir is enhanced by vinification carefully orchestrated by the Bret Brothers, following the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture.
