The Domaine Bret Brothers is a micro-negociant winemaker founded in 2001 by the owners of Domaine La Soufrandière. This estate is committed to producing great terroir wines from 100% certified organic grapes or in conversion. The selected plots are cultivated by passionate winemakers on exceptional terroirs, mainly located in the Mâconnais and Beaujolais regions. The manual harvest, vinification with indigenous yeasts, and meticulous aging give the wines a remarkable quality, imbued with the authenticity of the terroir.

The Fleurie Rouge Poncié "Zen 2021" is one of the flagship wines of the estate. The vines, located on the pink granites of the locality Poncié, facing Southwest, produce small concentrated grapes. This wine is made using a ZEN carbonic maceration method for 10 days, followed by fermentation and aging in 8-year-old barrels. The result is a wine with a bright ruby red color, an expressive nose of red fruits such as raspberry, strawberry, and redcurrant, complemented by notes of licorice and a subtle hint of pepper.
