The Domaine des Roches Neuves, located in Varrains in the Loire Valley, is a symbol of Saumur wines. Founded in 1850, it has experienced a revival under the direction of Thierry Germain since 1991. The estate now covers 28 hectares, entirely cultivated using biodynamic methods, a commitment made since the 2000s. With a fragmented vineyard composed of 61 plots, Thierry Germain produces wines that reflect the excellence of their terroir, both red and white.
The Saumur Blanc "Clos Romans" 2018 is an exceptional wine made exclusively from Chenin Blanc. This white wine reveals a bright straw-yellow color, almost crystalline, and offers a nose of great complexity, blending fruity, floral, and vegetal notes.
