Bulles De Roche | Wine from Domaine Thierry Germain

Created in 1850 by the Duveau family, the Domaine des Roches Neuves was taken over in 1991 by Thierry and Marie Germain, who transformed it into a true reference for wines in the Loire Valley. With a complete conversion to organic farming in the late 1990s and to biodynamics in the early 2000s, the estate is fully committed to respectful viticulture. Located in Varrains, just 5 km from Saumur, it now spans 28 hectares, producing elegant and authentic wines under the Saumur and Saumur Champigny appellations.

Bulles de Roche is a Crémant de Loire made from a unique blend of 90% Chenin and 10% Cabernet Franc, cultivated according to the principles of biodynamics. This sparkling wine is distinguished by a shimmering golden hue and a fine, persistent mousse. Its traditional winemaking method ensures a delicate effervescence, highlighting the subtle aromas and silky structure of the Chenin.

Visually, the wine presents a bright golden hue with silvery reflections, highlighted by a cordon of exceptionally fine bubbles.
On the nose, aromas of white fruits like pear and apple mingle with notes of brioche and white flowers, offering beautiful complexity.
On the palate, the attack is lively and fresh, followed by a creamy texture and a lingering finish marked by elegant minerality.

This Crémant de Loire pairs perfectly with festive appetizers, grilled fish or those in light sauces, shellfish such as langoustines or oysters, as well as fruity desserts based on pear or apple.
