TheDomaine du Pélican, managed by Guillaume d'Angerville, is the fruit of a passion for viticulture that spans generations. Guillaume, also at the head of Domaine Marquis d'Angerville in Volnay since 2003, represents the sixth generation to manage this historic Côte de Beaune property. In search of new horizons, in 2006 he turned to a wine region outside Burgundy. Inspired by a blind tasting of a Chardonnay d'Arbois by Stéphane Tissot in 2007, he decided to set up in the Jura. This estate, close to Volnay for careful supervision, offers exceptional terroirs and unique winemaking. Domaine du Pélican produces wines with a distinct character, combining tradition and innovation, thus providing a remarkable sensory experience.

The Arbois Blanc "Chardonnay" 2022 from Domaine du Pélican has been an emblematic vintage since the creation of the estate in 2012. This Chardonnay comes from several plots located in Arbois and Montigny-les-Arsures, with vines planted on hilltops and marly soils, at an altitude of up to 400 meters. The age of the vines varies between 10 and 45 years. The grapes are lightly crushed then pressed, with fermentation in barrels and tuns. Around 30% of the harvest is aged in oak barrels, including 5% new. This wine is distinguished by its precision and chiseled character, offering volume and minerality thanks to the marly soils.
