The Domaine du Pélican, led by Guillaume d’Angerville, is the result of a passion for winemaking that spans generations. Guillaume, also at the helm of Domaine Marquis d’Angerville in Volnay since 2003, represents the sixth generation to manage this historic property in the Côte de Beaune. In search of new horizons, he turned to a wine region outside Burgundy in 2006. Inspired by a blind tasting of a Chardonnay from Arbois by Stéphane Tissot in 2007, he decided to establish himself in the Jura. This estate, close to Volnay for careful oversight, offers exceptional terroirs and unique winemaking. Domaine du Pélican produces wines with a distinct character, combining tradition and innovation, providing a remarkable sensory experience.

Arbois Blanc "Savagnin Ouillé" 2022 from Domaine du Pélican is an exceptional wine from Jura, made from the Savagnin grape variety. Unlike its oxidative version, this Savagnin Ouillé is vinified without prolonged contact with air, offering a fresher and livelier expression. The grapes come from various plots in Arbois and Montigny-les-Arsures, on diverse soils. The harvest is partially macerated, then fermented in barrels and vats. The result is a powerful wine, with aromas of citrus and exotic fruits, and a straight and taut palate.
