Bourgogne Aligoté Blanc "Le Clou Et La Plume" 2021 from Domaine Agnès Paquet
Domaine Agnès Paquet, stretching over 13 hectares between the Côte de Beaune and the Hautes Côtes de Beaune, offers a diverse range of appellations, including Bourgogne Aligoté, Pinot Noir, Hautes Côtes de Beaune white and red, Auxey-Duresses, Pommard and Chassagne-Montrachet. Their approach to viticulture is distinguished by a deep respect for the terroir, with a transition to an Ecocert certification in 2019. The 2022 vintage proudly bears the AB label. The estate attaches great importance to manual work in the vineyards, with a reinforcement of the team during crucial periods such as green work and harvesting, carried out by hand in small boxes of 12 kg.
The 2021 Bourgogne Aligoté Blanc "Le Clou Et La Plume" from Domaine Agnès Paquet embodies the excellence of the Aligoté grape variety. This refined elixir reinvents its reputation by revealing a subtle harmony between finesse, fruitiness and complexity. Its meticulous ageing in 500-litre barrels gives it remarkable depth and length in the mouth. This exceptional wine is the result of two distinct plots, "Les Plumes" in Meursault, where the clay soil brings its distinctive touch, and "Le Topo du Clou" in Meloisey, nestled on a mainly limestone terroir, thus offering an authentic representation of the diversity of Burgundian terroirs.
