The domaine lafougehas been established in Auxey-Duresses since the seventeenth century, leaving its mark on this village on the Côte de Beaune. Over the centuries, the Jean and Gilles Lafouge family estate has expanded its territory by exploring small neighbouring plots near Meursault and Pommard, reaching an area of 10 hectares. Thanks to a serious commitment to vineyard work (ploughing and organic compost) and cellar practices (use of wild yeasts), each wine of the Domaine captures the singularity of its terroir with subtlety and greed, avoiding any excess of exuberance. The Domaine has embodied the harmonious alliance of tradition and discretion for six generations, a firmly rooted state of mind that seems to be more fruitful today than ever.

This Auxey-Duresses "Les Boutonniers" 2021 - Domaine Lafouge comes from a plot near the village of Meursault offering excellent white wines. It seduces with a clear, crystalline straw color that harmonizes with its aromas of fresh almond and apple. Pleasant almond nuances, as well as mineral notes of flint, enrich its bouquet. It pairs perfectly with shrimp and fish in hot sauce, well-simmered ratatouille and seafood gratins. As an accompaniment to cheeses, it goes well with the Gruyère family, blue-veined cheeses and some goat cheeses.
