The Domaine Trapet Père et Fils, founded in 1870 by Louis Trapet, is currently run by Jean-Louis Trapet. As the heir to ancestral expertise, Jean-Louis continues a philosophy respectful of the terroir, with a biodynamic approach since 1995. The domain's 15 hectares include prestigious plots in Gevrey-Chambertin and emblematic Grand Crus such as Chambertin, Chapelle-Chambertin, and Latricières-Chambertin. Each vintage is a testament to the pure and authentic expression of the Burgundian terroir.
The Magnum Gevrey-Chambertin Red "Ostrea" 2021 comes from four meticulously selected plots, including a historic plot with the old vines of the domain. The soils, rich and varied, combine mineral notes with a balanced tannic structure. The aging process in the cellar, carried out with care and patience, allows the wine to reveal its full complexity and depth.
The Magnum Gevrey-Chambertin Red "Ostrea" 2021 presents a deep red color with garnet reflections that immediately captures the eye.
