The Domaine Jean Claude Rateau, founded in 1979, is a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in Burgundy. Jean Claude Rateau started with 2 hectares of family vineyards, gradually expanding his estate to 8 hectares thanks to the trust of various owners. Committed to environmentally respectful viticulture from the beginning, he has been adopting biodynamic practices for 30 years, certified organic by Ecocert. With 15 plots on 12 terroirs, he vinifies each batch to obtain expressive wines that offer immediate pleasure from the moment they are bottled.

The Beaune Rouge "Les Beaux les Bons" 2022 from Domaine Jean Claude Rateau is an elegant Pinot Noir from the Beaune appellation, often overlooked but offering superior terroirs compared to Hautes-Côtes-de-Beaune. This cuvée is a blend of two contiguous terroirs: "Les Bons Feuvres," with iron-rich soil, and "Les Beaux Fougets," with clayey lands. Offering excellent value for money, this wine reveals all the richness and finesse of its terroir.
