The Domaine Trapet, anchored in family tradition for five generations, is today a pillar of Burgundian viticulture under the direction of Jean-Louis Trapet since 1995. Married to the Alsatian winemaker Andrée Grayer, Jean-Louis saw their estate expand in 2002 when Andrée inherited 2 hectares of vines in Riquewihr, in Alsace. Together, they work with dedication and passion, often traveling long distances to care for their vines with natural preparations, thus ensuring impeccable quality to their wines.
TheLatricières-Chambertin Grand Cru Rouge 2021 from Domaine Trapet Père et Fils is an exceptional wine from a revered terroir. Beautifully displayed, this vintage is a “little wonder” offering the most noble and subtle essences. Its name, “la Tricière”, reflects the poor nature of the soil. The climate has 75 ares, with the oldest vines planted in 1938. This wine is a testimony to the excellence and winemaking tradition of Domaine Trapet.
