The Maison A&S was born from the shared passion of two friends, Pierre-Alexandre Soltana and Alexandre Aires. With their experiences in prestigious Burgundy estates such as Domaine des Comtes Lafon and Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair, they founded their wine trading business in 2018. In 2022, their project expanded with the acquisition of a plot in Hautes Côtes de Beaune, followed by a second in Pommard Village.

The two friends select their grapes with care, working exclusively with winegrowers practicing organic farming. Each grape bunch is meticulously sorted before vinification, which relies on indigenous yeasts and a minimum of additives. The aging process, lasting at least one year, limits the use of new barrels to preserve the expression of the terroir.

The Maranges Rouge "Le Bas Des Loyères" 2022 perfectly reflects the elegance of the wines from the Côte de Beaune. This vintage features a bright ruby color and subtle aromas of red fruits such as cherry and strawberry. Floral and spicy notes enrich the aromatic palette, supported by silky tannins and a lovely freshness.

On the nose, the wine charms with its aromas of fresh red fruits, mixed with slightly spicy and floral touches. On the palate, the attack is smooth and velvety, giving way to a harmonious structure and melted tannins. The finish is long and refreshing, marked by a beautiful minerality typical of the Maranges terroirs.

The Maranges Rouge "Le Bas Des Loyères" 2022 pairs perfectly with traditional Burgundy dishes such as beef bourguignon or coq au vin. It will also enhance roasted meats, such as a veal roast with mushrooms, or aged cheeses like époisses.
