Maison A&S was born from the partnership between Pierre-Alexandre Soltana and Alexandre Aires, two Burgundy experts passionate about the art of vine and wine. Pierre-Alexandre, vineyard manager at Domaine des Comtes Lafon, and Alexandre, cellar master at Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair, combined their knowledge to create this house in 2018. The adventure took a new turn in 2022 with the acquisition of plots in Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and then, in 2023, in Pommard Village.

This Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Rouge 2021 is made from meticulously selected grapes, organically farmed. Maison A&S favors respectful practices, with a natural fermentation thanks to indigenous yeasts and one year of aging in barrels, limiting the proportion of new wood. This 100% Pinot Noir offers a wine that is both indulgent and authentic, true to the Burgundy terroir.

This wine presents a deep red color with ruby highlights. On the nose, fresh red fruit aromas, such as cherry and raspberry, express themselves delicately, mixed with subtle notes of sweet spices. On the palate, the attack is smooth, the texture elegant, supported by balanced acidity. The tannins are fine and silky, offering a beautiful length.

The Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Rouge 2021 pairs wonderfully with grilled red meats, such as a rib of beef or duck breast. It also complements slow-cooked dishes, like beef bourguignon or coq au vin. For cheese lovers, it pairs perfectly with an aged Époisses or truffled Brie.
