Founded in 1834, the Domaine Chandon de Briailles is an iconic family-owned property in Burgundy, located in Savigny-lès-Beaune. Managed by Claude and François de Nicolay, the estate covers 14 hectares and is renowned for its prestigious plots in Premier Cru and Grand Cru, particularly in Aloxe-Corton and Corton-Charlemagne.
Since 2005, the estate has converted to biodynamic viticulture, obtaining official certification in 2011. The estate's approach is based on respect for nature and terroirs, with minimal intervention in the cellar. The wines are carefully vinified under the supervision of Claude de Nicolay, with moderate use of new oak barrels and no added sulfites during bottling.
