Saint-Romain 2017 Domaine Albert Bichot
Maison Albert Bichot is a wine merchant specialising in Burgundy wines for more than 180 years. Located in Beaune, the region's wine-growing centre, la maison Albert Bichot operates its own vineyards and produces its own vintages. Albert Bichot currently includes 14 properties and 5 estates, representing more than 250 hectares of vines. It produces more than 400 different wines from Burgundy and Beaujolais, which are exported to more than 50 countries around the world.
This Saint-Romain offers a beautiful ruby colour of good intensity and black cherry. Its bouquet is reminiscent of red berries (redcurrants, raspberries and cherries). Its aromas evolve towards ripe fruit, spices and smokiness with fine and elegant tannins. The Saint-Romain appellation can be drunk from a very young age with an ageing potential of about ten years.
