Savabin Blanc 2022 | Wine from Domaine Crotet Maxime
The Maison Maxime Crotet is the story of a young passionate winemaker from Burgundy who trained for ten years with Frédéric Cossard in Saint-Romain. In 2021, Maxime launched his own estate by acquiring a winery in Beaune. Not owning a vineyard per se, he turned to a trading activity, carefully selecting grapes from organic farming winegrowers who share his values. Maxime Crotet is distinguished by his ability to produce natural wines that respect the environment while bringing a modern perspective to winemaking.
The Savabin Blanc 2022 is made from the Savagnin grape, a rare and authentic variety. Vinified without added sulfites, this white wine perfectly embodies the domain's philosophy: a natural winemaking that highlights the purity of the fruit and the terroir. The aging is mainly done in stainless steel tanks, allowing the preservation of the wine's freshness and liveliness. This white reveals aromas of citrus, white flowers, and a slight mineral touch, all supported by well-balanced acidity.
The Savabin Blanc 2022 opens with fresh and floral aromas, with notes of white flowers and citrus. On the palate, it offers a beautiful minerality and a light texture, with a refreshing finish.
