AMI is the meeting between a talented winemaker and a passionate ambassador and now an adventure: the ambition to create a seductive, lively, warm wine, full of meaning nourished by simple generosity. The two friends worked together in the same field for 2 years. When one left to learn how to make Mediterranean wines, the other stayed in Burgundy, but the desire to continue working together was there. The estate was born from the desire to keep this friendship alive.
Willy, the winemaker, is him. After having cut his teeth at Domaine De Montille, he took charge of the wines of Clos du Moulin aux Moines in Auxey-Durresses. Rich in these experiences, he has a deep knowledge of the Côte de Beaune terroirs. AMI is for him the opportunity to burst a bubble of madness. Paul is the gentleman farmer. Having trained in the art of tasting in London and Paris, he is the link between the city and the countryside. His passion for wines of character led him to work with talented winemakers such as Oronce de Beler and Dominique Hauvette.
