The book follows a geographic structure from north to south, dividing the region into 13 groups based on territorial continuity. Each group is introduced with a concise description of the landscape and main characteristics of the appellations it encompasses. The idea for this book was born in 2007 when Camillo Favaro and the ArtevinoStudio team embarked on a journey through Burgundy. In 2012, a first edition of the book, titled Wines and Vineyards of Burgundy, was published with the collaboration of the famous Italian wine journalist Giampaolo Gravina. This new edition has been translated into English by renowned American writer Burton Anderson, assisted by Joanie Bonfiglio, a wine professional passionate about Italian and French wines.
