Description
We learn in his cosmos that Michel Onfray has never tasted a single good biodynamic wine, and that the principle of cultivating wines in biodynamics is considered "magical thinking" inspired by a great "ignorant": Rudolf Steiner (1861-1924). One should see in biodynamics and its wines, however "planetary successes," a successful sham. Strange success! But what about these wines and these winemakers, exactly? From what unknown science does biodynamic viticulture, absolutely ecological, derive its principles and practices? And why do very prestigious vineyards, led by enlightened personalities, now cultivate their wines biodynamically? Slipping like a necklace of paragraphs around the slender neck of great wines, this book humorously responds to the hangover of the thinker from Caen! Thierry Weber teaches philosophy and writes essays on wine. A Master of Wine and agricultural engineer, Olivier Humbrecht, directs the Zind-Humbrecht estate and chairs the International Biodynamic Winegrowers Association, Biodyvin. Bertrand Mac Gaw illustrates, paints, and drinks wine.
