Description
The Union of Independent Winegrowers of Alsace offers us aplot of the Alsatian vineyard.
- This very precise map, based on the cadastre allows us to dive into the rigorous work of 4 years carried out by the Synvira to present us their terroir and thus make us understand where their labels come from.
- Each member of the group therefore took cards of his village and those adjoining, then went to knock on the doors of neighbors winegrowers, representatives of wine unions or even elders who sometimes know which place was vinified alone for the singularity of its wines.
You will see that the localities claimed by the winegrowers are numerous, of various sizes and distributed, if not homogeneously, at least from north to south of the wine coast. This work finds its legitimacy: it shows from above the multitude of these small gestures that make an ordinary wine a unique wine marked by its terroir. These small gestures, pictorial here, take us back in time to Alsatian culture and invite us to la découverte of our immanent and nevertheless common heritage.
Safe travels!
