Saint-Véran "Les Chataigniers" 2022 | Wine from Domaine Jacques Saumaize
Domaine Jacques Saumaize, which has been respectful of the soil and the environment for more than 20 years, made its organic label official in 2020. Anthony Saumaize reinforces this philosophy with natural herbal teas that energize according to the seasons (horsetail, silica, horn dung). The estate highlights the terroirs thanks to meticulous work in the vineyard, manual harvesting, pneumatic pressing and plot-by-plot vinification in barrels for 10 to 12 months.
The Saint-Véran "Les Chataigniers" 2022 from Domaine Jacques Saumaize is a wine from a plot adjacent to En Crèches. Aged 50% in 25 hl casks and 50% in barrels, this vintage stands out for its richness, with notes of ripe fruit and a marked creaminess, contrasting with 2021. Well balanced and pleasant to drink, it perfectly embodies the typicity of its terroir.
