Sancerre White "Les Romains" 2020 Wine from Domaine Vacheron

This 2020 Sancerre blanc from Domaine Vacheron, made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety, is distinguished by its flint clay soils. It can be kept for at least 6 years, thus enhancing its aromatic palette.

The cuvée "Les Romains" comes from a single plot of flint and is aged for one year in barrels, revealing a very balanced and harmonious wine. Its minerality, its notes of citrus, white flowers and its flinty side give it great finesse.

Slightly acidic and smoky, this Sancerre will go wonderfully with fish (sea bass, John Dory, baked plaice), shellfish, as well as goat's cheese (Crottin de Chavignol, Selles-sur-Cher, Pouligny-Saint-Pierre).
