Vin Blanc Bourgogne Vézelay ''Cuvée L'elegelle'' 2021 - Domaine La Croix Montjoie
The estate was created in 2009 by Sophie (granddaughter of vigneron and agronomist) and Matthieu (oenologist), organic since the 2021 vintage, it is made up of 10 hectares of vines on a well-winded hillside with clay-limestone soil, planted with Chardonnay. Respect for the vines and the soil is the ma word, with ploughing, organic amendments and of course zero insecticides.
This 2021 Bourgogne Vézelay "Cuvée L'elegant" from Domaine La Croix Montjoie is Chardonnay aged in vats and old barrels for 9 months. With discreet aromas of hazelnut, a delicate attack for a beautiful length in the mouth. The limestone of the soils offers pleasant lingering saline notes on the finish. It will go wonderfully with fish in sauce, seafood and why not scallops...
