Description
An innovative concept on the homeopathic treatment of plant diseases. With this work, the author ventures into uncharted territory and opens up perspectives that are still unimagined. V. D. Kaviraj, himself an experienced homeopath who treated up to 150 patients a day with homeopathy for over 10 years at Dr. Chatterjee's rural clinic in India, had the chance experience of treating plants homeopathically. While visiting acquaintances in Switzerland, he was asked to treat the family and their pets homeopathically. As the apple orchard was suffering from rust, he was also asked for advice in this regard. The apples had dark red rings on the skin and an increased need for water. The symptoms of redness with thirst corresponded to Belladonna, which he immediately tried on the plants. To everyone's surprise, the rust disappeared. Furthermore, the apples tasted significantly better the following year. For Vaikunthanath Das Kaviraj, this was a key experience. Over the next twelve years, he conducted intensive research in this field, mainly in Europe and Australia. He uses homeopathy for various plant diseases. In Australia, where he practiced, his method became very successful and widely applied. In the initial experiments to get rid of aphids on roses, we were surprised to see the quick and lasting effectiveness of the homeopathic remedy. A single spray was enough to eliminate the aphids in 2 to 3 days, and another spray was only needed 3 months later, with the same success. The method also proved effective in combating mildew that affects zucchini and grapevines. The book focuses on the importance of nutrients, treatment for parasitic infestations, fungal, viral and bacterial diseases, injuries, and weed control. In addition to well-known homeopathic remedies such as Calendula for injuries during repotting or Calcium phosphoricum to combat stem base rot, he also uses rare homeopathic remedies such as Hyssopus for charcoal diseases, Mentha viridis against parasites, and Ocimum for tomato diseases, and Ricinus communis for vineyard pests. A thought-provoking book that could potentially revolutionize the future of agriculture. Who knows the limits of homeopathy? Anne Sheptyck, Canada
