Description
Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge "Les Plantes Momières" Old Vines 2022 | Wine from Domaine Bachey-Legros
Domaine Bachey-Legros, cultivated for six generations, extends over 19 hectares. It stands out due to its old vines planted between 1935 and 1955. Located on a historic street in Santenay-le-Haut, at the foot of the Montagne des Trois Croix, this estate benefits from an exceptional setting facing a magnificent cirque, contributing to the richness and quality of its wines.
Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge "Les Plantes Momières" Old Vines 2022 from Domaine Bachey-Legros is a rare and exceptional wine. Sourced from old Pinot Noir vines planted in 1946 by Joseph Bachey, this wine reflects the family's heritage and expertise. Harvested manually, it undergoes meticulous vinification: cold pre-fermentation maceration, 11-day alcoholic fermentation, and 10-day post-fermentation maceration. The 14-month aging process takes place in oak barrels (20% new), offering complexity and depth.
