Marthe Henry, who recently moved to Meursault, is a winemaker and winemaker. It was his relationship with his grandfather Pierre Boillot, a well-known figure in Meursault, and his passion for wine that led him to leave journalism to study wine at the Beaune wine school, and then with his friends Pierre-Henri Rougeot and Jean-Yves Devevey.
On the strength of these experiences, she embarked on a quality micro-trade, before being able to take over some family vines in 2023. A proponent of a refined style by limiting interventions as much as possible, her wines spend at least 18 months in oak barrels, without racking or sulphur. The reds are vinified with a portion of whole bunches.
From her first vintages, Marthe Henry proves all her talent by delivering wines of great harmony. A talent to be discovered despite the small quantities produced!

This 2020 Hautes-Côtes de Beaune from Marthe Henry is a light, floral and airy Pinot Noir, while displaying a lovely texture of infused fruit on fresh and dried black fruits, cranberry and elderberry. Its floral fragrance is very close to bewitching us. From the whole bunch, it's clear, herbs, doregano and thyme stems. And a subtle woody side that adds to the complexity.
