Founded in 1847, the Maison Bérèche & Fils is run by the two brothers Raphaël and Vincent Bérèche, who represent a new generation of passionate and innovative winemakers. Located in exceptional terroirs between Ludes, Ormes, Mareuil-le-Port, and Trépail, the estate favors sustainable viticulture, excluding chemical inputs and promoting meticulous soil work. Each cuvée is crafted with particular attention, blending Champagne tradition with natural winemaking.
The vineyard for the "Réserve" cuvée spans 7 hectares of vines over 40 years old. The terroirs are divided into 35% Ludes, 30% Ormes, 25% Mareuil-le-Port, and 10% Trépail, with clay-limestone soils of remarkable richness that give the wine its minerality and natural elegance.
The winemaking is based on a slow fermentation in barrels and small vats, followed by aging on fine lees to preserve the purity of the fruit. Aging in the cellar lasts between 24 and 36 months on slats, allowing the wine to develop a fine and persistent bubble and a unique aromatic complexity.
