The Domaine Philippe Pacalet, founded by a passionate artisan and nephew of the famous Marcel Lapierre, embodies the excellence of natural wines. The Nuits-Saint-Georges Red 1er Cru "Aux Chaignots" 2020 comes from a unique terroir located on the upper slope. This climate, composed of clay-limestone soils scattered with stones, promotes a mineral expression of the Pinot Noir grape. The winemaking, done with whole bunches, uses indigenous yeasts without unnecessary mechanical or chemical intervention. After 17 months of aging on lees, this wine reveals a refined character and incomparable depth.
