Founded by Larry Stone in 2010, the Domaine Lingua Franca is located in the Eola-Amity Hills at the heart of the Willamette Valley, a region renowned for its ideal conditions for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The estate spans an exceptional terroir with soils rich in Nekia, Gelderman, and Jory, benefiting from a unique elevation of 300 feet. Environmentally friendly winemaking methods and collaboration with the famous winemaker Dominique Lafon enable the estate to produce wines of great purity and unparalleled elegance.

The Avni Rouge Pinot-Noir 2019 is a Pinot Noir wine of remarkable finesse. It is sourced 32% from the best parcels of Domaine Lingua Franca and 68% from neighboring vineyards in the Eola-Amity Hills, capturing the essence of the local terroir. The grapes are hand-harvested, carefully sorted, and then naturally fermented with indigenous yeasts. Aging for 12 months in French oak barrels, 27% of which are new, provides subtle structure and aromatic complexity.

The Avni Rouge Pinot-Noir 2019 offers an enchanting bouquet dominated by aromas of ripe red fruits such as black cherry, accompanied by subtle notes of spices, black tea, and fresh herbs. On the palate, the texture is velvety and harmonious, with a beautiful length on the finish. This wine also presents an elegant floral hint of rose petal and a slightly smoky note of tar that completes the complexity of its aromatic profile.
