The Domaine de Villaine, located in Bouzeron, in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, perpetuates an ancient wine tradition. Nestled between Santenay and Mercurey, this estate benefits from an exceptional terroir shaped by the monks of Cluny since the Middle Ages. Specializing in the Aligoté grape variety, the vines on hillsides at 270-350 meters above sea level benefit from limestone soils and a warm microclimate, ideal for optimal ripening of the grapes. The Bouzeron AOC, renowned for its small surface area and controlled yields, remains a little-known treasure of Burgundy.

The Rully 1er Cru red "Cloux" 2021 from Domaine de Villaine is an exceptional wine grown on a steep slope facing East and South-East, thus benefiting from an ideal microclimate within of the Rully Appellation. Intensely fruity and "airy" in its youth, it is distinguished by its ability to evolve with elegance, offering at maturity subtle and complex aromas typical of great Burgundies.
This wine, recommended at a temperature of 16°C in its youth and 18°C ​​as it ages, goes perfectly with game birds, red meats and cheeses such as Reblochon or Cantal.
