Brothers Romain and Jean-Guillaume Chapuis, who come from a family lineage rooted in Burgundy viticulture, launched the "Chapuis Frères" estate in 2009 in Pommard. With 4 hectares of vines and purchases of often organic grapes, their range includes Savigny les Beaune, Chorey les Beaune and Pernand-Vergelesses. Following the success, they moved to Ladoix, adopting a low-intervention approach, favouring indigenous yeasts and limiting the use of sulphur and oak barrels. The wines, harvested by hand, are distinguished by their aromatic freshness and their immediate drinkability, reflecting the Burgundian terroir.

This 2022 red Chorey-les-Beaune cuvée from the Chapuis Brothers is a Pinot that expresses all its finesse with happiness! Thanks to the exceptional quality of this vintage, marked by a perfect balance between tannins and acidity, Romain Chapuis offers us here a superb Chorey-les-Beaune that transcends its terroir. The small red berries harmonize with delight with notes of spices, peony, cherries and raspberry jam. Although the tannins are still present and impressive for a Chorey, Romain Chapuis manages to coat them perfectly thanks to meticulous ageing in oak barrels. This authentic Pinot transports us directly to the Côte de Beaune, without artifice or detours!
