Domaine Mee Godard, located in Villié-Morgon, is a winery that combines passion and expertise. Born in South Korea, Mee Godard was adopted by a French couple, growing up with a love for nature and science. After an impressive academic journey in biology and oenology, and practical experience in Oregon, she returned to France to pursue her passion for wine. In 2013, she settled in Beaujolais and now cultivates 6.5 hectares of vines on prestigious crus such as Morgon and Moulin-à-Vent, following the principles of organic farming.

The Beaujolais Blanc 2022 is a 100% Chardonnay cuvée, a rare and sought-after grape variety in this region. Hand-harvested to preserve the quality of the berries, this wine results from meticulous work in the cellar: low-temperature fermentation, aging in large barrels and neutral casks for 11 to 12 months, followed by a resting period to harmonize the aromas. The result is an elegant, balanced white wine imbued with the unique character of the Beaujolais terroir.

The Beaujolais Blanc 2022 reveals a bright golden hue. On the nose, fresh aromas of white flowers, green apple, and a hint of citrus intertwine harmoniously. On the palate, the attack is lively, followed by a beautiful roundness marked by notes of ripe pear and lemon zest. The finish is long, mineral, and elegant.

This Beaujolais Blanc pairs perfectly with seafood, grilled fish, or an aged Comté cheese. It also goes wonderfully with lightly spiced Asian dishes, highlighting its balance and freshness.
