Domaine Berthelemot, founded in 2006 by Brigitte Berthelemot, is inspired by family winemaking traditions and respect for the soil. Located in Meursault, this family estate cultivates 15 hectares in Côte de Beaune, covering prestigious appellations such as Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Pommard, and Beaune. Since the arrival of her son Thomas in 2017, the estate has enjoyed a new momentum. The wines, certified organic since 2021, reflect the estate's commitment to biodynamics and environmental respect.

The Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Blanc "Abbaye de Morgeot" 2022 from Domaine Berthelemot comes from the locality Abbaye de Morgeot, where the Cistercian monks of the Abbaye de Maizières established an annex around 1150. The soil is composed of marl limestone, reddened by the presence of iron oxides, on a subsoil of Bathonian limestone debris. The 53a 16ca plot, situated between 230 and 240m in altitude, enjoys a slightly rolling southeast exposure. Composed 100% of Chardonnay, this wine is hand-harvested, vinified, and aged in oak barrels. It offers complex aromas of fresh fruits, white flowers, and honey, combining power, balance, richness, and minerality. Serve at 12-14°C, decanting recommended for young vintages.
